Since 1998, the St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center (SMFHC) has been a spiritual epicenter, offering a beautiful and welcoming space for Orthodox Christians and visitors of all backgrounds.
​
The Center has grown into an independent organization, housing the Metropolis of Boston Camping Ministry as well as many other programs and ministries dedicated to offering spiritual renewal, hospitality, and formation for all ages. The Center is a year-round home for retreats, conferences, and events—supporting the evolving needs of the Orthodox Christian faithful and extending hospitality to other Christian and nonprofit organizations.

Looking to our future, we are at a critical turning point as our Church is called upon to take on challenges that are increasingly complex. SMFHC exists to meet these challenges by educating and empowering young people, families, and parishes in our Orthodox Faith and Hellenic Heritage.

To continue fulfilling this mission, we have launched The Legacy Campaign for The St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center, with the goal of ensuring our campus provides modern, accessible facilities and investing even more in our ministries so that we can extend our legacy as a thriving spiritual oasis for generations to come.
​
The Campaign will strengthen Orthodoxy and our Faith, advance the health and vitality of our parishes and ministries, and preserve the legacy of our heritage and culture. It will shape the future of youth and young adult ministry in New England, and shine as a beacon for the nation to see.

Our Campaign Team has worked with architects, planners, ministry leaders, and other stakeholders to determine our most critical needs. Together we will continue to build the legacy of the St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center. I thank you for your generous support.

MISSION STATEMENT
Rooted in the legacy of camp ministry and guided by a commitment to faith, fellowship, and growth, the Saint Methodios Faith and Heritage Center is a place where all who visit encounter peace, community, and the presence of Christ.
CAMPAIGN VISION
St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center was born of a vision to create, in perpetuity, the epicenter for Orthodoxy in New England.

This vision of His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios began with the belief that a vibrant Church places significant emphasis on the spiritual development of youth and young adults.
​
Throughout his 40 years of pastoral leadership, His Eminence extended this vision, to include parishes, other organizations, and non-Orthodox community groups to promote the universal and timeless principles of Orthodoxy and Hellenism.
​
By providing ministries, experiences, and activities that integrate faith, culture, and community, The Center is invaluable in nurturing unwaning spirituality.
